demolition and clearance of the former Dairycrest site, Parkfield Road, Torquay, for the construction of a residential development providing 43 two bedroom apartments with associated parking, amenity and utility space.  The site layout has been designed to locate the constructed element of the proposed development, ranging from 2 to 4 floors of accommodation over ground floor parking, back from Lymington Road reflecting the location current built forms on site and present an open space between as private amenity space for the residents.

The proposed building is at its highest within the deepest part of the site and reduces in height as it progresses toward the boundaries emulating the topography of this undulating part of Torquay and reflecting the profile of the surrounding landscape. This reductive design allows for roof gardens and terraces to be incorporated into the development adding to the already generous external amenity spaces.
