CONSULTATION

The Godfrey Partnership is a leading architect company based in Teignmouth, Devon. We work closely with you throughout the process, advising on materials and design to suit your vision.

DESIGN

We pride ourselves on design excellence. Able to design in contemporary and traditional styles working on projects from initial sketch to 3D visuals, through to CAD drawings and detailed plans.

BIM and 3D modeling

We’re investing in the business to be at the forefront of 3D and BIM technology. This enables us to provide our clients with an unrivaled service co-ordinating all aspects of project delivery with the design team.

You:

·         Are in the early stages of your career developing experience and confidence in leading projects.

·         Have experience of working on urban regeneration / mixed used development projects.

·         Are an innovative and creative designer able to understand and respond to the specific needs of a project.

·         Have a strong technical knowledge and understanding of building regulations and CDM.

·         Are able to ensure project programme and business priorities are understood and delivered.

·         You’re looking for a role giving you the opportunity to develop into a business leadership role.

·         You’re able to listen, understand, question and communicate with clients and project teams.

·         You’ve lead projects and can demonstrate successful leadership of design teams managing programmes and      adapting to the demands of multiple projects.

·         Are a good communicator who works well with people and has the ability to nurture and develop team members   ensuring they are engaged, motivated and valued.

·         As a minimum are competent in Autocad and Revit but also have other capabilities.

·         Want to contribute to innovation and development within the business and the wider profession.

Job Information

You:

·         Have 3-5 years in practice experience and have experience leading small projects with a desire to grow.

·         Are able to understand and develop technical solutions to meet the needs of a particular project.

·         Have a demonstrably strong technical knowledge with a detailed understanding of building regulations , project specification and CDM regulations.

·         Are comfortable developing pre-construction CDM documentation and co-ordinating this within a design team.

·         Have site inspection experience and are comfortable communicating with site teams.

·         Are able to ensure project programme and business priorities are understood and delivered.

·         You’re able to listen, understand, question and communicate with clients and project teams.

·         You’ve lead projects, recording progress, managing programmes and adapting to the demands of on site development.

·         Are a good communicator who works well with people and has the ability to nurture and develop team members ensuring they are engaged, motivated and valued.

·         As a minimum are competent in Autocad, Revit and NBS specifier but also have other capabilities.

·         Have an understanding of emerging technologies and want to contribute to innovation and development within the business and the wider profession.
